Desk Redo

Here are the before and after pictures of the little desk I found at a local antique store for only $25. It was a steal and the boys love it. I am now on the look out for another one or maybe 2 more so each kid can have one lined up in the play room. ;)

If you look closely you will notice that there is a snake about to eat a rabbit on the desk top. Parker's request ;)

I wanted to keep it classic and simple since everything else in the room is really bright and colorful. I painted the metal base a glossy ivory and the top is chalkboard paint. I restrained the wood back and seat with a dark walnut stain.
